Thank you, Jeffery!

This was kind of difficult for me to write because I spent a large part of my early career playing blues without much of the underlying context. I don't think that I was ever disrespectful or inappropriate, but I have definitely taken the time to reexamine and weigh my past actions. Writing this was an examination of where I am personally in reagrds to appropriation and respect for the cultures that the music I love come from and it was a little scary, to be honest.
